NEBO, Ky. (10/7/13) – Kentucky State Police (KSP) officials have reported a drug arrest involving two Nebo residents.
On Sunday, October 6, 2013, KSP Post 2 received an anonymous complaint of possible drug activity at 445 North Hoffman Street, Nebo in Hopkins County. Troopers arrived on scene to investigate the complaint and made contact with homeowner David Simms Jr. and Mindy Davis. Through investigation and information from a third party, troopers were able to obtain a search warrant for the residence.
Inside of the residence troopers located suspected methamphetamine and marijuana. Troopers also located drug paraphernalia and items consistent with the manufacturing of methamphetamine.
Simms and Davis were charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Possession Controlled Substance 1st, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession Anhydrous with Intent to Manufacture, Prescription Medication Not in Proper Container, Controlled Substance Endangerment to Child 4th Degree and Tampering with Physical Evidence
Both suspects are currently lodged in the Hopkins County Detention Center.
