“The families of Hopkins county are fortunate to have a talented prosecutor like Brad Johnson handling the juvenile docket,” P'Pool said in a press release. “It is always encouraging to see local graduates return to Hopkins County to establish their career, and I am confident Brad Johnson will be an outstanding public servant.”

Johnson is a 2006 graduate of Madisonville-North Hopkins High School and attended Kentucky Wesleyan College graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor's of political science degree. “I look forward to working for the people of Hopkins County,” Johnson said, “and, hope to make a difference in the lives of our youth.”

He is married to Whitney Johnson, a teacher at Pride Elementary School.
