Benton Middle School Celebrates 'Community'

BMS1

BENTON (10/22/13) — Benton Middle School staged its first Community Celebration Friday, Oct. 18. At the first of the year, students were put in groups called Com-munities. Each community chose a dominant color and also had to create with a com-munity name, motto, cheer and poster. Each community was also given the job of dec-orating a trophy that would be given out during each celebration. Trophies that were given out during Friday's assembly were achievement, conduct, attendance, com-munity learning, spirit, and CAP. The communities showcased what they had created during the celebration.
