Community Embraces Kidapalooza as Annual Event

kid2013 1026MADISONVILLE, Ky. (10/26/13) – The 2013 Kidapalooza was held today, downtown Madisonville from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.  This event started back in 2008 as a free event solely for kids and has grown over the years.

“The committee is pleased that the community has embraced Kidapalooza as an annual event and continues to support it through attendance, community volunteers and financial support,” -said Daron Jordan, community development director for the city of Madisonville. It is through this support that the event is able to remain a free event with plenty of activities for the kids to enjoy.”

This year’s activities included arts, crafts, games, inflatables, the Madisonville Fire Department Safety Trailer, the Madisonville Lions Club eye screenings and demonstrations from the Grace Warehouse STOMP Team.
