EARLINGTON, Ky. (12/29/13) ― A reckless driving incident resulted in the arrest of three people Saturday, Dec. 28 along the Pennyrile Parkway.
According to a Kentucky State Police report, Trooper Joseph Bartolotti stopped a 2013 Chevrolet Traverse at 7:51 p.m. in regard to reckless driving. After speaking with the driver, Randy Woodrum, 50, of Brandenton, Fla., Bartolotti determined him to be impaired.
A search of the vehicle revealed marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Woodrum was charged with speeding 25 MPH over the limit, reckless driving, tampering with physical evidence, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, trafficking in marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Woodrum's passengers Samuel Dewayne Funsch, 24, and Makayla Leo Selman, 19, were charged with tampering with physical evidence, trafficking in marijuana and buying or possessing drug paraphernalia. Funsch was also charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
All are being lodged in the Hopkins County Jail.
