Accident Injury 01 red 300DALTON, Ky. (1/2/14) — A Webster County woman was injured in a one-vehicle collision in Hopkins County after losing control of her vehicle two miles west of Dalton, Ky.

According to a Kentucky State Police report, Leslie May, 37, of Providence was driving a 2012 Jeep compass west on Government Bend Road at about 11:50 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, when she lost control on the wet road. She went off the right shoulder of the road and struck a culvert before coming to rest upright.

She was transported via Medical Center Ambulance Service to Baptist Health in Madisonville for treatment of her injuries. The report said she was wearing a seat belt.

Trooper John Komar was the investigating officer.
