MADISONVILLE, Ky. (1/16/14) — After a month long investigation, detectives from the Madisonville Police Department Vice/Narcotics Unit were able to serve a search warrant at a U.S. 41 residence in Hanson Wednesday, Jan. 14.
According to a Madisonville Police report, Corey Devon Robinson, 31, was found in the possession of large quantities of illegal narcotics and several firearms including one that had the serial number removed.
Robinson was charged with violation of a Kentucky EPO/DVO, trafficking in marijuana less than 8 oz., two counts, possession of defaced firearm, trafficking in marijuana less than 8 oz. firearm enhanced, and possession of firearms by a convicted felon.
He is currently lodged in the Hopkins County Jail on a $10,0000 cash bail bond.
The case remains under investigation and additional charges and/or arrests are expected, the report said.
