HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (1/17/14) — An Earlington man was charged for trafficking in synthetic drugs after Madisonville Police Department Vice/Narcotics Unit detectives along with Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force members served a search warrant Thursday, Jan. 16 at S. McEuen residence in Earlington.
According to the Madisonville Police report, detectives located a large amount of synthetic drugs, Lortabs, cash and other items that were consistent with drug trafficking.
Rodney Deondra Martin, 28, was out on bond from a prior narcotics trafficking charge, when his home was searched, the report said.
Martin was charged with trafficking synthetic drugs, first offense, which is a class A misdemeanor, trafficking controlled substance, second degree, first offense, and drug paraphernalia buy/possess.
He is currently being lodged in the Hopkins County Jail.
The case remains under investigation and additional charges and/or arrests are expected, the report said.
