Pickups Sideswipe on Kentucky 85

accident glass 300HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (1/18/14) ― The Kentucky State Police investigated a two-vehicle, injury collision that occurred at 5:10 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18 on Kentucky 85, approximately two miles east of Madisonville.

The preliminary investigation revealed that Troy W. Inghram, 44, of Sacramento was driving a 2008 GMC Sierra headed west on Kentucky 85 while Michael J. Hale, 43, of Madisonville, was driving a 1995 GMC Sierra headed east.  As Inghram and Hale passed each other, their vehicles drivers' sides struck each other, causing minor damage.

Hale drove himself to Baptist Health Madisonville for minor injuries.  Both men were wearing seatbelts.

Trooper Joe Bartolotti investigated the collision.
