Hip Hope 300MADISONVILLE, Ky. (1/22/14) — “Fusion” of Real Life Church in Madisonville will be presenting the live community event, Hip-Hope, with special guest Infamous at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24 at Browning Springs Middle School.

Fusion is a compilation of youth ministries that impact a generation of Jesus Christ.

“This event is a fundraiser for Backpack Blessings,” said Jake Lynn, outreach pastor. “It will start right after the girl’s middle school basketball, district championship game.”

Backpack Blessings is a program operated by the Hopkins County School’s Family Resource Youth Centers.

The program provides ready-to-eat or easily prepared foods for children, whose families qualify for free and reduced-priced meals. The goal of the program is to keep children from going hungry over the weekend.

There is no fee with a non-perishable food item.
