Nebo Man Charged for Sex Abuse of Minor

Nebo Perv 300DIXON, Ky. (1/23/14) — A Nebo man has been charged for sexual abuse of a minor under the age of 12 after an investigation began in September.

According to a Kentucky State Police report, KSP Detective Billy Sumner charged Michael A. Cummings, 46, of Nebo with one county of first-degree sexual abuse with a victim under 12, which is a Class C felony.

Sumner received had information from the Webster County Department for Community Based Services that Cummings had sexual contact with a child in Webster County, the report said.

The investigation is continuing.

Cummings is being lodged in the Webster County Jail.
