Madisonville Man Arrested With Drugs

Timothy FranklinMadisonville Police arrested and charged Timothy Franklin with possession of controlled substance, third degree, drug unspecified, possession of synthetic drugs – class B Misdemeanor and drug paraphernalia buy or possess.MADISONVILLE, Ky. (2/5/14) — Madisonville Police responded to a call of suspicious activity at the Marathon gas station located on 600 West Noel Ave.

According to the Madisonville Police report, officers were notified that the store was closed and someone was sitting on a bench outside the store.

When officers arrived, they noticed a black bag next to a Timothy Allen Franklin, 28, and inside the bag, officers found several items of drug paraphernalia and suspected synthetic marijuana, a glass pipe and scales.

Officers also located a cardboard cylinder fragrance holder that contained three small yellowish green pills. The pills were identified by the poison control hotline as Klonopin 1MG, the report said.

Franklin was charged with possession of controlled substance, third degree, drug unspecified, possession of synthetic drugs – class B Misdemeanor and drug paraphernalia buy or possess.

He is currently being lodged in the Hopkins County Jail.
