Woman Allegedly Threatens to Set Police Officers on Fire

Latrisha PaytonMPD arrested and charged Latrisha Rayannen Payton with two counts of terroristic threatening, third degree, criminal trespassing, first degree, menacing and disorderly conduct, second degree. MADISONVILLE, Ky. (2/13/14) — Madisonville Police were dispatched to a residence on Adrian Circle in reference to a woman trespassing Wednesday, Feb. 12.

According to the Madisonville Police report, Officers Falon Graham and Russell Nichols were advised before their arrival that a Latrisha Rayannen Payton, 30, was asked to leave the residence and refused to do so.

The report stated that upon officer’s arrival, Payton admitted that she was not supposed to be in the home and become very aggressive. She began to scream, curse and continued to refuse to leave the residence. She also proceeded to make threats to the officers that she was going to kill them both by setting them on fire, the report said.

Payton continued to make threats to both officers after being placed in the police cruiser saying she was going to cut their throats, according to police.

Payton was charged with two counts of terroristic threatening, third degree, criminal trespassing, first degree, menacing and disorderly conduct, second degree.

She is currently being lodged in the Hopkins County Jail.
