Dixon Man Arrested After Violation of Protective Order

williamsMADISONVILLE, Ky. (2/17/14) – Christopher Williams, 28, of Dixon was arrested after he violated a Ky. domestic violence order by coming within 500 feet of the petitioner on Feb. 14.

When Williams was located by Madisonville Police and put in handcuffs, he shoved officer Matt Sanderson.

The officer attempted to physically restrain Williams, but a physical alteration followed. Williams elbowed another officer in the side, but was finally restrained and handcuffed, according to police records.

Williams was charged with violation of a KY EPO/OVO, resisting arrest, and assault third-police officer. He was lodged in the Hopkins County Jail under a $5,000 bond.
