hopkinsschool 300MADISONVILLE, Ky. (2/19/14) - The snowy season looks like it may have come and gone, but planning make-up days is still up in the air for Hopkins County Board members.

“It’s a work in progress,” said Superintendent Linda Zellich, who said a new calendar is waiting on local board approval.

The board is waiting to see if flooding could also be an issue after predicted storms come through western Ky. late this week, according to Zellich.

Zellich said taking Spring Break days away from students, teachers, and families for make-up day use is still “an absolute last resort”.
