Powderly Man Charged for Throwing Knives at Mother's Boyfriend

knife stabbing crime 300POWDERLY, Ky. (2/26/14) — The Muhlenberg County Sheriff's Department charged a Powderly man after he was accused of throwing knives at his mother's boyfriend Monday, Feb. 24.

According to a sheriff's report, Sgt. Terry Vick investigated after arriving on the scene and charged Jonathan Shelton, 24, with second-degree wanton endangerment and third-degree terroristic threatening. Deputy Alex Piper assisted in the investigation.

Shelton was lodged in the Muhlenberg but is not listed as an inmate Wednesday at the time of the press release.
