Madisonville Woman Arrested After Vehicle Accident

Inmate Lisa AdamsMadisonville Police arrested and charged Lisa Adams with seven counts of theft by deception.MADISONVILLE, Ky. (2/26/14) — A Madisonville woman was injured in a two-car collision early Wednesday morning, was treated and released from the hospital, then charged on seven outstanding warrants and taken to jail.

According to a Madisonville Police Department report, Lisa Adams, 48, was headed north on Grapevine Road while Damien Burklow was headed east from Spicer Avenue at about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26. Burklow failed to yield to Adams and the vehicles collided on Grapevine Road near Woodlawn Drive.

Adams had a complaint of a possible injury to her hand and was transported to Baptist Health by MPD. She was then charged for seven counts of theft by deception and lodged in the Hopkins County Detention Center.

Officers Justin Jones and Falon Graham were the arresting officers.
