Madisonville Mayor, Judge Celebrate Literacy Week, Receive Recognition Certificates

Madville Mayor Judge(Photo Taylor Riley/SurfKY News Reporter)MADISONVILLE, Ky. (3/6/14) — The Madisonville Chamber of Commerce helped celebrate Literacy Week with a special recognition to Mayor David Jackson and Judge Donald Carroll at a luncheon Thursday.

Peggy Stirsman, reading specialist for Hopkins County Schools, presented the leaders with the Kentucky Reading Association Certificate of Recognition for outstanding contributions for literary advancement in Madisonville.
