InmateImg032014ZZZ998045880 03062014130924DAWSON SPRINGS, Ky. (3/7/14) ― The Kentucky State Police has charged a registered sex offender for using a social network that is accessible to minors.

According to a KSP report, Post 2 was contacted by Hopkins County Probation and Parole at 9:31 a.m. Thursday, March 6 in reference to a Dawson Springs man, who had been prohibited from having a social media account that is accessible to minors, with an active account with a social media site.

KSP Det. Dan Morck arrested Terry W. Carter, 40, of Dawson Springs at 10:10 a.m. Thursday, March 6 without incident at the Hopkins County Probation and Parole office in Madisonville. Carter was lodged in the Hopkins County Jail.
