KSP received a tip of drug activity at a residence on Racetrack Road in Dawson Springs Tuesday, March 11, according to a KSP report.
At 8:17 p.m., troopers arrived at the residence and were granted consent to search.
The investigation led to the discovery of multiple drugs and drug paraphernalia. During the course of the investigation, troopers discovered two children were also present.
Trooper Joseph Bartolotti charged Alan R. Giffin, 34, his wife, Stephanie R. Giffin, 28, with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance/meth, trafficking in a controlled substance/meth and endangering the welfare of a minor.
Both were lodged in the Hopkins County Jail.
Bartolotti is continuing the investigation. He was assisted at the scene by Trooper Nathan Craft, Trooper Jonathan Ward and Sgt.
