Pizza Boxes to List Child Support Offenders

pizzaHOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (3/17/14) — Some area residents ordering pizza soon will be getting an extra topping with their delivery.

Hopkins County Attorney Todd P'Pool has collaborated with several local pizza businesses to place “March Madness Most Wanted” flyers on their delivery boxes.

P'Pool hopes the effort will “score big” for the Child Support Unit during March Madness.

The flyers will list 12 individuals with outstanding bench warrants for failure to pay child support.

Information will include name, height, weight and arrearage amount for those 12 individuals.

With that information, residents are urged to contact the Child Support Unit at (270) 821-6666 or local law enforcement if they have any information regarding the whereabouts of any of the individuals.

“I believe this effort will lead to arrests as we continue to explore new and innovative ways to protect the children of Hopkins County from parents who don't pay their child support,” said P'Pool. “I want to thank Godfather's Pizza, Rocksan's Pizza, Quality Pizza and Hobo Mickey's Pizza for participating in this project.”
