Multi-Agency Drug Bust Nets 100 Pounds of Marijuana

pot bustST. CHARLES, Ky. (3/17/14) ― A multi-agency marijuana bust netted approximately 100 pounds of marijuana at a Hopkins County residence, which was also the location of a marijuana processing station.

According to a Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force report, PNTF was joined by the sheriff's departments from Muhlenberg, Hopkins and Ohio counties in the execution of a search warrant Monday, March 17 at 159 Terry Road, St. Charles.

The search warrant was obtained after a joint investigation between the agencies and turned up not only 100 pounds of marijuana but also weapons and a large cache of money.

Police charged Danliel L. Young, 54, with trafficking in marijuana more than five pounds, weapon enhanced, cultivating marijuana, five plants or more, first offense.
