Tuesday Fire on Nebo Road Ruled Arson

Fire 06 arson investigation 300MADISONVILLE, Ky. (3/19/14) - The Madisonville Fire Department received an alarm from Central Dispatch for a structure fire at approximately 5:48 p.m. Tuesday, March 18 at 755 Nebo Road.

While responding, MFD crew observed heavy black smoke coming from the rear of the structure.

After further investigation, it was determined that an enclosed semi-trailer located in the lot behind the structure had been set on fire, according to MFD.

The structure was not involved in the fire, however, it was observed that the structure and several vehicles were vandalized.

The Madisonville Police Department was requested to the scene for further investigation.
