'Guns and Hoses' Fight for the Kids

Guns and Hoses 2014(Photo courtesy Guns & Hoses Facebook)EVANSVILLE, Ind. (4/7/14) — Local police and firefighters will fight for not only the title of finest and bravest but also for charity Saturday, April 12, at "911 Gives Hope - Guns and Hoses 2014."

The heroes will square off in 15 boxing matches, each fight consisting of two rounds. At the end of the night, a championship belt will be awarded to the team with the most victories.

“911 Gives Hope” dedicates time and money to improving the lives of children and people with disabilities in the local community. 100 percent of all money donated from Guns and Hoses and its other projects go directly to local charity organizations.

Who will be named winner of the seventh annual fight?

Will it be the blue or the red?

The event will begin 7 p.m., April 12 at the Ford Center in Evansville. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $15-$30 and are available at TicketMaster.com.
