According to the Madisonville Police report, upon officers arrival the complainant advised officers that Nicholas Seth Oakley, 28, threatened his life by holding a handgun to his head.
The complainant told officers that he was asleep when he heard a disturbance and went for a knife and entered the living room to find his cousin and Oakley fighting.
Oakley then approached the complainant by tackling him to the floor and taking the knife away. Oakley then went to the bedroom and came out with a loaded handgun and stuck it to the complainant’s head saying he was going to kill him, the report said.
When officers located Oakley, he confirmed the complaints against him and was then read his Miranda Rights.Oakley was charged with wanton endangerment, first degree and is currently being lodged in the Hopkins County Jail.
