MADISONVILLE, Ky. (4/9/14) — Madisonville Detectives conducted an investigation at a W. Jagoe residence Tuesday, April 8.
According to the Madisonville Police report, detectives received a tip from a confidential source that Christopher Ernest Davis, 30, was trafficking in synthetic drugs.
When detectives made contact with Davis, he consent to a search in his home and surrendered a pipe with synthetic residue. Davis advised detectives that was all he had in the home.
Detectives then began the search and located two suspected lortabs in a plastic baggy, suspected methamphetamine, several individual baggies of synthetic drugs, and other items consistent with drug trafficking, the report said.
Detectives also located another pipe and needle that Davis advised was for personal use.
Davis is charged with possession of controlled substance, second offense (meth), trafficking in synthetic drugs, first offense, Class A Misdemeanor, drug paraphernalia buy or possess, and possession of controlled substance, third degree, drug unspecified.He is currently lodged in the Hopkins County Jail.
