Hopkins County Crime Stoppers Tip Leads to Meth Arrest

kayla mitchellMadisonville Police arrested and charged Kayla Nichole Mitchell with possession of controlled substance, first degree, first offense (meth) and drug paraphernalia buy or possess.MADSIONVILLE, Ky. (4/11/14) — While investigating a Crime Stoppers Tip, detectives were able to make an arrest at a Dulin Street address.

According to the Madisonville Police report, detectives made contact with 29-year-old Kayla Nichole Mitchell. During the search, Mitchell retrieved a needle and a small baggie of white crystallized substance. Mitchell advised officers it was methamphetamine.

Mitchell was charged with possession of controlled substance, first degree, first offense (meth) and drug paraphernalia buy or possess.

She is currently being lodged in the Hopkins County Jail.
