MADISONVILLE, Ky. (4/12/14) - The Kentucky State Police investigated a single-vehicle, injury collision that occurred at 7:44 a.m., Friday, April 11 on Kentucky 85 at Kentucky 70.
The preliminary investigation revealed that Freeman Croft, 65, of Greenville, was operating a 2002 Honda Motorcycle eastbound on Kentucky 85. While attempting to make a right turn onto Kentucky 70, Croft lost control of the motorcycle. He traveled across the westbound lane and came to rest in a ditch, according to the report.
Croft was transported via ambulance to Baptist Health Madisonville for treatment. He was not wearing a helmet.
Trooper Jonathan Murphy investigated the collision. Sgt. Daniel White, Anton Fire Department and Med Center EMS assisted at the scene.
