ST. CHARLES, Ky. (4/17/14) ― Kentucky State Police has arrested a St. Charles man that was wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service.
According to a KSP report, KSP troopers and Madisonville Police Department officers responded to a residence at 6:54 p.m. Wednesday, April 16 on Lamb Road in St. Charles.
Working on a tip, officer had received information that Joseph L. Franklin, 31, was at the residence.
Upon arrival, Franklin exited the residence and was taken into custody, according to the report.
Three other individuals inside the residence were also arrested.
Trooper Jonathan Murphy charged Franklin on the execution of a federal bench warrant and the execution of a bench warrant.
He also charged Virginia D. Payne, 27, Nortonville, with tampering with physical evidence, trafficking in a controlled substance, first degree, first offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, third degree, and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
Jamie A. Davis, 22, of Madisonville, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, first degree, third or more offense, menacing, disorderly conduct, third-degree assault/police officer and resisting arrest.
Dasha N. Bean, 22, Nebo, was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct and menacing.
All four are being lodged in the Hopkins County Jail.
Trooper Joseph Bartolotti and the Madisonville Police Department assisted at the scene.
