Dawson Springs Police Department arrested and charged Earl F. Nelson with trafficking in synthetic drugs, first offense, and possession of drug paraphernalia.DAWSON SPRINGS, Ky. (4/25/14) — The Dawson Springs Police Department arrested a Dawson Springs man for trafficking in synthetic drugs after receiving a tip about possible drug activity at the Trade Water River boat ramp on Mill Dam Road.
According to a Dawson Springs Police report, officers responded to the boat ramp Thursday, April 24 to find there were several people in the area. Further investigation revealed approximately three ounces of synthetic drugs along with packaging material in a vehicle belonging to Earl F. Nelson, 22.
Nelson was charged with trafficking in synthetic drugs, first offense, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was lodged in the Hopkins County Jail.
