Three Busted for Meth in Dawson Springs

meth bustDAWSON SPRINGS, Ky. (5/7/14) — A Hopkins County man and a Caldwell County man and woman were arrested after Kentucky State Police executed a search warrant at 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 7 in Dawson Springs.

According to a Kentucky State Police report, KSP Troopers and the Dawson Springs Police Department executed the search warrant at a residence on Poplar Street. The search revealed that the three were manufacturing methamphetamines.

KSP charged Treston A. Fambrough, 19, Dawson Springs, with manufacturing methamphetamine, first offense; Jason L. Schomer, 29, Princeton, with manufacturing methamphetamine, first offense, possession of drug parahernalia, tampering with physical evidence and controlled substance endangerment to a child; and, Jessica L. Hanns, 20, Princeton, with manufacturing methamphetamine, first offense.

All are being lodged in the Hopkins County Jail.

KSP Det. Anderson is continuing the investigation.
