dicee-assaultDicee Shaun StewartMADISONVILLE, Ky. (5/9/14) — A Madisonville woman is incarcerated for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend in the face with a knife.

According to a Madisonville Police report, Officer Jason Barnes responded to 670 Victoria Street to assist the Madisonville Fire Department with a call. While there, Barnes discovered that the resident reported he had been stabbed in the face by his girlfriend, Dicee Shaun Stewart, 33.

Barnes located Stewart at 239 South Harrig Street. Stewart told police she struck her boyfriend with the handle of a knife in response to him charging at her, according to the report. She also had no visible signs of injury.

She is being lodged in the Hopkins County Jail.
