road closed orange 300WEBSTER COUNTY, Ky. (5/12/14) — Webster 911 Dispatch reported a hole in the pavement along Kentucky 1835 north of Slaughters at mile point 2.2 about 5:45 p.m. Monday, May 12.

Upon inspection, the Webster County Highway Maintenance Crew found one lane of the roadway severely damaged by erosion.

A 48-inch cross drain was found to be collapsing quickly at the site.  KYTC personnel closed this section of Kentucky 1835 for tonight and will replace the cross drain on Tuesday.

KY 1835 will be closed through tonight and until about 3:00 p.m., on Tuesday.  This closure point on Kentucky 1835 is between the intersections with Kentucky 1405.

There will be no marked detour.
