miners4MADISONVILLE, Ky. (5/30/14) — The Madisonville Miners fell to the competition in the first game of their season Friday, May 30 at Elmer Kelly Stadium at the Madisonville City Park.

The Miners took on the Hoptown Hoppers and were defeated 8-1.

The Miners' next game will be 7 p.m. Sunday, June 1 against the Fulton Railroaders at home followed by another home game at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 3 against the Owensboro Oilers.

The Madisonville team will travel to Hopkinsville to take on the Hoppers on their home field at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 4; then they'll swing back home for Friday and Saturday nights at 7 p.m. against Fulton on Friday and the Dubois County Bombers on Saturday.
