MUHLENBERG, Ky. (6/2/14) — The students of the Health Careers Cluster of the Muhlenberg Job Corps Center conducts their clinical requirements at the Kindred Health Care – Maple Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

The students in training have become very close to the residents, so much so, they wanted to raise money to purchase hygiene products for the residents.

The nursing students, with the help of staff, hosted a bake sale and with the funds they were able to purchase 150 bottles of shampoo to donate to the nursing home.

This donation is just one of the many ways the students of the Muhlenberg Job Corps Center give back to their community.
