MADISONVILLE, Ky. (6/7/14) — The Dubois County Bombers came to town for Saturday night’s game against the hometown Madisonville Miners and left the winners by a narrow margin.

Dubois County Bombers defeated the Miners 3-2.

Going into the seventh the score was 2-1 Miners over Dubois, but the Bombers tied it up then pulled ahead by one run in the seventh.

The Bombers held their lead through the bottom of the ninth.

The Miners play the Oilers in Owensboro Sunday, June 8; the Hoptown Hoppers back at Elmer Kelley Stadium in Madisonville Monday, June 9; and, against Fulton Wednesday, June 11 all starting at 7 p.m.
