MADISONVILLE, Ky. (6/11/14) — Madisonville Police conducted a traffic stop on Dulin Street that led to a drug arrest Tuesday, June 10.
According to a Madisonville Police report, Officer Justin Jones pulled over a vehicle driven by Malachi Skye Fields, 34, of Madisonville, who was arrested for driving on a suspended or revoked operator’s license.
The report said Jones suspected Fields' passenger, Donald Wayne Mora, 46, of Madisonville, was under the influence of narcotics. After Fields granted permission to search the vehicle, Jones found a cigarette pack containing suspected synthetic marijuana and roaches under the passenger seat.
Mora advised Jones that the drugs were his and he threw them under the seat when he saw Jones put on his blue lights, the report said.
Mora was charged with possession of synthetic cannabinoid agonists or piperazines and tampering with physical evidence.He is currently being held in the Hopkins County Jail.
