DUE TO HEAVY SNOWS IN WESTERN KENTUCKY...WIDESPREAD 6 TO 12 INCH SNOWFALL AMOUNTS HAVE HAULTED AREA TRAVEL. ISOLATED 15 INCH AMOUNTS HAVE BEEN REPORTED. Accident Injury 01 300GREENVILLE, Ky. (6/11/14) — A 17-year-old man was injured, when his vehicle ran off the road about three miles north of Greenville.

According to a Kentucky State Police report, Ty McDaniel of Horse Branch was driving a 1995 Chevrolet S10 pickup truck headed north on Kentucky 181 at 6:05 a.m. Wednesday, June 11 when he exited the right side of the road. The truck struck a concrete culvert and overturned, coming to rest on its top on the roadway.

McDaniel, who was wearing a seat belt, was transported via ambulance to Muhlenberg Community Hospital for treatment. There were no passengers.

Trooper Jerrod Hearld investigated the collision.

The Muhlenberg County Sheriff's Department, Greenville Fire Department, Bremen Fire Department and Muhlenberg County EMS assisted at the scene.
