UPDATE: Three Injured in Two Vehicle Accident on North Main

main-st-accUpdate: MADISONVILLE, Ky. (6/12/14) — A two-vehicle collision on North Main Street in front of the Silver Star restaurant sent three people to the hospital this afternoon.

According to a Madisonville Police report, Judith C. Martin, 49, of Hanson, was driving a 2012 Toyota Camry when she started out onto North Main Street from Ayer Parkway while Jessica M. Johnson, 34, of Owensboro was driving a 2001 Dodge Dakota north on North Main Street approaching Ayer Parkway.

Martin failed to observe Johnson traveling north on Main Street while attempting to make a left turn, and she traveled into Johnson's path, causing Johnson to strike Martin's vehicle.

Martin and her passenger, Roger Martin, 50, of Hanson, and Johnson were all transported to Baptist Health.

The Madisonville Fire Department and Medical Center Ambulance Service assisted at the scene.
