Bloody Dispute Leads to Arrest

MADISONVILLE, Ky. (6/20/14) — Madisonville Police responded to a North Harrig Street domestic assault Thursday, June 19.

According to the Madisonville Police report, upon arrival officers made contact with Jennifer Susan Alderman, 26, Madisonville in the front room of the residence. Officers noticed that she was shaken up and appeared to be bleeding from her mouth and arms.

Alderman told officers that Scott Edward Sizemore, 33, Madisonville, had hit her. Officers then proceeded into the home, where they found Sizemore in the back bedroom. Officers noticed Sizemore had a bloody bottom lip and a red forehead. Sizemore advised officers that Alderman had hit him in the face with a laptop, grabbed him in a private place and squeezed.

Officers also noticed that both the man and woman had red swollen knuckles from the fight.

A witness corroborated Sizemore’s account of the incident, the report said.

Alderman was charged with assault in the fourth degree, domestic violence with minor injuries.

Both are currently lodged in the Hopkins County Jail.
