Katelynn-PPool--Miss-Teen-Katelynn P'Pool, Miss Teen Hopkins County.MADISONVILLE, Ky. (7/24/14) — The Hopkins County fair continues with rides, games, events and food offerings at the Hopkins County Fairgrounds and Ballard Convention Center.

The Miss Teen Hopkins County Pageant saw 13 girls aged 13 to 15 compete for the crown. Katelynn P'Pool was named Miss Teen Hopkins County. The first runner-up was Hannah Curneal. The second runner-up was Jennifer McCraw. Miss Congeniality was Rowena LeAnn Cruz. Ms. Tennessee United States Lauren Wallace was master of ceremonies.

The arena event for the evening was a tractor pull.

Exhibitions included chainsaw carving demonstrations by Bear Hollow Chainsaw Carving and a free petting zoo operated by Baird's Petting Zoo.

Hopkins County fair events continue Thursday with the Little Miss and Mister Hopkins County Pageant at 7 p.m. in the midway building and motocross races beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the arena.
