MPD Searching for Suspect in Assault, Possible Kidnapping

assaultinvestigationMADISONVILLE, Ky. (7/28/14) — Madisonville Police responded to a call about a robbery, assault and possible kidnapping at 12:12 a.m. Saturday, July 27.

According to an MPD report, an investigation at 33 North Kentucky Avenue revealed a Madisonville man had been assaulted and held against his will. The man was treated and released from Baptist Health Madisonville.

The investigation is continuing, and police are asking for anyone with information about the incident, to call Det. Sean McCance at (270) 821-1720 or Crime Stoppers at (270) 825-1111.
