Cadiz Drug Arrest

drug arrest 04 300CADIZ, Ky. (7/28/14) — On July 17, Cadiz Police received a complaint that an employee of Sonic Drive-In had sold marijuana to a juvenile employee.

The marijuana was found by the juvenile's parent at their residence and reported to the police.

As a result of the investigation by Major Duncan Wiggins, Byron A. Alexander, 25, of Cadiz, was charged with Trafficking in Marijuana and Unlawful Transaction with a Minor - Second Degree. He was served arrest warrants on these charges on July 23 at the Christian County Jail where he was lodged on separate marijuana possession charges and an out-of-county warrant.

Cadiz Police are continuing their investigation.
