According to the Madisonville Police report, upon arrival, the victim advised police that her husband, Danny Adam Bolden, 28, Madisonville entered the home around 5 p.m. She told officers that Bolden had a gun. He then pointed the gun to his throat and threatened to harm himself if she didn’t talk to him.
The victim told officers that she tried to escape through a side bedroom, but was unsuccessful. Bolden then grabbed her and put her in the bathroom, where he held her against her will. She then advised police that he pointed the gun at her head.
During this time, the victim had scissors in her hand and while Bolden was trying to take them away, he cut his finger. Bolden then left the residence and the victim went to a neighbors to call the police for help. Bolden then arrived at the police station, where he gave an interview to police, the report said.Bolden was charged with violation of a Kentucky EPO/DVO, wanton endangerment, first-degree and unlawful imprisonment, first-degree.
