MADISONVILLE, Ky. (7/31/14) — Madisonville Police responded to a theft complaint at the South Main Street Subway, Wednesday, July 30.
According to the Madisonville Police report, officers were advised that two white males and one white female involved in the Subway theft were entering Huck’s gas station on South Main Street.
As officers arrived to the scene, they observed Howard Ligon McKinney, 30, Nortonville and two others exit the rear of the store.
During officer’s investigation, a small plastic baggie of suspected synthetic marijuana was located under the police cruiser. The bag was retrieved and McKinney, who was standing in front of the cruiser, was questioned. The bag allegedly belonged to him.
McKinney admitted to officers that the synthetic marijuana was his, the report said.
McKinney was charged with possession of synthetic drugs, Class B Misdemeanor.He is being lodged in the Hopkins County Jail.
