EARLINGTON, Ky. (8/4/14) — Two Hopkins County men were arrested early this morning, Aug. 4, after Kentucky State Police received a call of a suspicious vehicle on Flat Creek Road near Earlington.
According to a KSP report, Trooper First Class John Komar was dispatched to the scene at 6:02 a.m., where he discovered the vehicle parked in the travel portion of the roadway with two males passed out inside.
Komar charged Joshua T. Skinner, 34, of Madisonville, with first-degree possession of a controlled substance/meth, first offense; possession of marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia; tampering with physical evidence; carrying a concealed weapon; no registration plates; failure of owner to maintain required insurance, first offense; public intoxication; and, possession of open alcoholic beverage container in motor vehicle.
He also charged Daniel T. Morseman, 37, of Hanson, with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and public intoxication.
Both are being lodged in the Hopkins County Jail.The Hopkins County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene.
