MANITOU, Ky. (8/5/14) — Investigation into three burglaries in the Manitou community, has resulted in charges for a 29-year-old Hopkins County man by the Hopkins County Sheriff's Office.
According to a HCSO report, Det. Otis Chamberlain used leads, online software and pawn shop canvasses to locate a portion of the stolen property at Rivery City Pawn, Cash for Gold and Cashland.
The HCSO located Heath Dickerson at 1675 Rainwater Lane, Manitou, July 23 and charged him with second-degree burglary. After the victims identified their property at the pawn shops, it was returned to them on July 28. The investigation is continuing, the report said.
Dickerson was charged with two counts of receiving stolen property/firearm, receiving stolen property more than $500, second-degree burglary, and three counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.He is being lodged in the Hopkins County Jail.
