road closed yellow 300MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (8/7/14) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close a section of Kentucky 601 in Muhlenberg County starting Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014.

Kentucky 601 will be closed for an extended period at mile point 3.43 to allow a drainage structure to be replaced. This is along Kentucky 601 between Wright Lane and Cypress Cemetery Lane, about 2/10ths of a mile north of the Western Kentucky Parkway Overpass.

The roadway at this site is expected to close at 7 a.m., CDT, Wednesday. It is expected to remain closed for about two weeks. There will be a marked detour.
