clinic-pharmacyCENTRAL CITY, Ky. (8/8/14) — Clinic Pharmacy is a full Service Pharmacy located in Central City.

A full-service pharmacy offers more than simple refills of prescriptions.

Clinic Pharmacy offers specialty compounding. Specialty compounding is necessary when a prescription cannot be filled with pre-made medicines. The staff at Clinic Pharmacy will actually mix the chemical compounds to make your medicine.

Clinic Pharmacy offers free delivery to the door available six days a week.

The pharmacy also has a free vitamin program for children. Clinic Pharmacy will give free monthly bottles of multivitamins to all children from ages 3-13 for parents, who sign them up.

Clinic Pharmacy's Shane Fogle believes this program helps promote a healthy future for children.

Clinic Pharmacy is a locally owned business that opened in 1972. It is a partnership between Shane Fogle, Darrell Gentry and Elizabeth Gentry.

Fogle says, "We strive to give the best and quickest service to our customers. Our No. 1 priority is our patients and taking care of them. We strive for customer satisfaction. We deliver countywide and offer after-hours service to our customers if there is a need. Our customers are our friends and we try to treat them like family."

Clinic Pharmacy also offers a full line of in-home medical equipment. Some equipment may not be available at their Central City Store but is available through their sister stores, Greenville Pharmacy, Medical Center Pharmacy (Baptist Health in Powderly), Madisonville Pharmacy and Clinic Pharmacy South Beechmont.

Clinic Pharmacy offers a full line of diabetic shoes and supplies along with a full-time certified diabetic counselor. They have CPAP machines for sleep apnea and hospital beds. They offer prescription packaging for those people, who forget when to take their medications, and flavoring for children's medications is available. They also offer vaccinations such as flu shots and shingle vaccinations.

All of Clinic Pharmacy's pharmacists are from Muhlenberg County and Clinic Pharmacy is accredited by the Community Health Accreditation Program.

Located on 203 North Second Street in Central City, Clinic Pharmacy is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.. They can be reached at (270) 754-4300.
