Friday Night Live Finale Filled With Fun

fnl300a8MADISONVILLE, Ky. (8/9/14) — The grand finale of the Friday Night Live series in downtown Madisonville was not dampened by the much-needed rain falling across western Kentucky Friday night. Spirits were bright as vendors set up booths, entertainers took the stage and children tossed beach balls to each other inside the Ballard Center.

The 14th annual series of Friday night summer festivals held one each month during June, July and August have been hosted by the city of Madisonville, Baptist Health and the Hopkins County Tourism Commission.

The evening was filled with music from entertainers including Rufus Banker, Mayor Jackson and Friends, Spencer Holley and the Sweet Beats: Beatles Tribute Band.

Drawings were held throughout the night for T-shirts, Chamber Checks and concert tickets.
